Country living in the southeast hills, 5.5 miles from the hospital, with excellent bird watching. Layout: two bedrooms upstairs with wood and tile floors sharing a 3/4 bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has a separate entrance, a sunroom, and a full bath with washer and dryer. Features: radiant heat on propane, Kiva fireplace, washer/dryer, stainless steel dishwasher, gas range and refrigerator, covered portal in back with privacy and a gorgeous view, 8x8 shed, parking for three, and very good internet. The detached guesthouse is rented and faces away from the Lily Pond house, so there is no shared outdoor space. Terms: the property is on well and septic, so there are no bills for those; the tenant pays all other utilities and propane. The lease runs through the end of April 2027, with the option to renew for another year by mutual agreement. Non-smoking property. A 4x4 is recommended in winter. Available September 1, 2026. Move-in cost is $5,400: first month's rent ($2,700) plus a security deposit equal to one month's rent ($2,700). Please note: pond care is part of the lease. The tenant helps take care of the lily pond and feeds the fish - about 30 minutes per week during the warmer months.
