Parking is readily available on the street on either side of the cottage. The cottage is cozy inside. Living room and kitchen are ample, bedroom fits double (full) bed and bathroom with full claw foot tub are smaller in scale. Mudroom at back with hooks and racks for storage. Front load washer dryer in the kitchen along with stainless fridge, glass top stove, new dishwasher and microwave. Kitchen bar with garden view. ATTENTION TALL HUMANS: The cottage has 7' ceilings and the lowest door clearance is 6' high, although most are an inch or 2 higher. If you are very tall, this may not be the place for you. What we have been calling the Captain's Cottage is an homage to the unique history of Ballard, where a large population of Scandinavians worked in the boat building industry at the turn of the 20th century. Inside showcases a few treasures from the Captain's seafaring travels. Decorative items can be removed and stored easily, but if larger items need to be removed, an additional charge may be necessary.
