This 2BR intown duplex sits high above a shady street in the gentrifying Capitol View neighborhood near the West End entertainment district and Tyler Perry Studios with easy access to the interstates and a few miles from Midtown, The freshly-painted duplex has hardwood floors, high ceilings with fans, a tiled bath and tiled, large kitchen with lots of cabinet space. It has a large screened-in porch (shared with Unit A), built-in bookshelves, a butler pantry a fenced-in area for off-street parking and security doors. It also has a washer-dryer hook up. It is important to note that the unit has a large walk-through bedroom between the large den and kitchen so the unit is not ideal for a roommate situation. The landlord pays the water & sewer, an often high bill in Atlanta, and the unit is all-electric so the tenant only has one regular utility bill. The duplex sits on a knoll above Dill Avenue. It has central heat and air conditioning but because of its elevation and the shade trees, the tenant can often cool the unit by letting the breeze come through the security doors in combination with the fans in the spring, summer and fall months if the tenant wants to reduce usage of the AC. The duplex is located a short walk to the Oakland City MARTA Rail station so it has great access to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, North Fulton, Buckhead, downtown sports and entertainment venues and Decatur, East Point, Lindbergh, Mosley Park and College Park. It has easy access to the Atlanta Beltline, other bicycling routes, the West End entertainment district, Washington Park and it is a short distance to Perkerson Park.
