Step outside into the fully fenced backyard, your private oasis with direct access to the boardwalk, just a two-minute walk to the beach. Two dedicated parking spots are included with the townhouse, along with additional guest parking spaces. Bicycle rentals and a summer trolley service are available on the island, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are also accessible. This quiet neighborhood is tucked between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a two-minute walk via the boardwalk across the street, connecting directly to the Gulf's sandy shores and the intercoastal waterway. The Santa Rosa Sound is also a short walk away. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is a 10-15 minute drive to Destin, depending on traffic. The neighborhood is conveniently located near restaurants and bars. Due to the tropical climate and island location, you may encounter tropical insects, amphibians, and other wildlife. The space is treated regularly for pests, but occasional encounters with palmetto bugs, roaches, no-see-ums, mosquitoes, and termites are possible, especially during storms. Water moccasins may be seen near rocks, so be aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay is at your own risk due to potential aquatic species. Check-in is at 4 PM or after, and check-out is by 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Guests are asked to report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within two hours of check-in. There is a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is detected.
