Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a private en-suite bathroom, and a beautiful view of the Santa Rosa Sound. Step outside into the fully fenced backyard, your private oasis with direct access to the boardwalk, just a two-minute walk to the beach.
Two dedicated parking spots are included with the townhouse, along with additional guest parking spaces. Bicycle rentals and a summer trolley service are available on the island, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are also accessible.
This quiet neighborhood is tucked between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a two-minute walk via the boardwalk across the street, connecting directly to the Gulf's sandy shores and the intercoastal waterway. The Santa Rosa Sound is also a short walk away. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is a 10-15 minute drive to Destin, depending on traffic. The neighborhood is conveniently located near restaurants and bars.
Due to the tropical climate and island location, you may encounter tropical insects, amphibians, and other wildlife. The space is treated regularly for pests, but occasional encounters with palmetto bugs, roaches, no-see-ums, mosquitoes, and termites are possible, especially during storms. Water moccasins may be seen near rocks, so be aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay is at your own risk due to potential aquatic species. Check-in is at 4 PM or after, and check-out is by 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Guests are asked to report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within two hours of check-in. There is a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is detected. Pets are not allowed. No events or vendors are permitted on the property. Guests are responsible for reporting any damage or hazards within one hour of occupancy. Children are not child-proofed, and parents are responsible for child-proofing. Guests agree to pay for any damage caused by themselves or their visitors. Host or agent may enter the property at any time in case of emergency or with 24 hours' notice for maintenance. Host is not liable for personal items left behind. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Host shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property. Guests agree to pay any documented loss of host income due to house rule violations. Lost or damaged keys will incur a $25 replacement fee. Food should be disposed of in the trash can; the garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. Guests shall not re-key or change door locks. Neighbors are to be respected, and noise should be kept to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM. Any disturbance triggering a police visit will result in immediate eviction. Kitchen items have been counted, and any item removed will be charged to the guest. Guests are asked to be respectful of linens and towels; makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks can stain or bleach them, and guests will be charged for un-salvageable linens. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be rearranged. An additional cleaning fee may be charged at the host's discretion for excessive cleanup. By booking, you give permission for identity verification and criminal database checks.
