This property is located in a quiet, local neighborhood tucked between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2-minute walk via the boardwalk across the street, which also provides access to the intercostal waterway. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 minutes from Destin. The neighborhood is conveniently located near restaurants and bars.
Due to the tropical climate and proximity to water, you may encounter tropical insects, amphibians, and other wildlife. The space is treated regularly for pests, but encounters are sometimes unavoidable. Snakes such as water moccasins may be seen occasionally, especially near rocks. Swimming in the bay is at your own risk due to various aquatic species. Check-out time is 10 am, and a $50 fine will be charged for late check-out. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book. Shoes should be removed inside the home. Smoking is prohibited, and a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee will be charged if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after check-out. Pets are not allowed. No events or vendors are permitted on the property. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am; any disturbance triggering a police visit will result in immediate eviction without refund. Lost or damaged keys will incur a $25 replacement fee per key. Garbage disposal is for small food remnants only; guests will be charged for plumber's time if damaged or clogged by guest. Eating food in bedrooms is not allowed to prevent pests and linen damage. Indoor and outdoor furniture should not be rearranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost may be charged at the host's discretion for extensive cleanup. Guests give permission for identity verification and criminal database checks.
