This modern micro studio features a queen sofa bed with a plush memory foam topper for ultimate comfort, a kitchenette for light meal preparation, and a beautifully tiled walk-in shower. A smart TV and modern finishes are found throughout the space. Unassigned parking is available in the parking lot. Ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft are also an option, as is renting bicycles to explore the island. A local bus service runs along the island and connects to nearby destinations. The nearest airport is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), approximately 12 miles away. This micro studio is located inside the Beachview Restaurant building, just steps from the sand on Okaloosa Island. The neighborhood is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay, offering breathtaking views and a wide variety of outdoor activities. The nearest public beach access is Okaloosa Island Beach Access Five - Doris Jordan Freeway Beachwalk. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops are in the area, as well as attractions like the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, Wild Willy's Adventure Zone, and the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. This spot is in the heart of the action and can be lively while the restaurant is open. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be your vibe. There is a strict no smoking policy inside the condo or on the balcony. Items left on the exterior walkway will be removed or discarded for safety reasons. The Islander has a strict policy on noise levels, so please be considerate of your neighbors during your stay. The heating and cooling system runs off a boiler system; when the weather outside is below 68 degrees, the heat will automatically turn on. If you need extra blankets or pillows, please let us know before 5 PM. There is an extra linen fee of $40 as extra linens for the sleeper sofa are not stocked. The unit is not childproofed. Guests must be over 22 to book and stay on the property. Guests are expected to respect all house rules, check-in and check-out times, and the peaceful enjoyment of the property.
