Hello future renter, this property description is written entirely with my noggin - no AI involved! I'll give you all the details - good and bad. I'm a straight shooter and I like to be upfront.
The good:
West Allis is centrally located around many desirable towns such as Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Greenfield, and Franklin. It's a 15-20 minute drive downtown. And this building is located very close to the highway entrance. There's also a bus stop nearby. Walking distance to the State Fair if you're into that. Parking on the public street can get a bit hectic during street fair time, but there is off street parking included with this unit.
It's lovely when the weather gets nicer out as it's a short walk to downtown West Allis with many options for food such as Double Bs, Caminos, Tomkens, and Filippo's Pizza nearby. Paulie's has live music and great bar food. The lifestyle here has developed a lot since West Allis' rebranding efforts in 2019.
If you're more in a driving mood, there are many grocery stores within a 5 minute drive. Pick n Save and Pan Asia and Parthenon Foods are super close. Ope Brewery is such a sick hangout spot.
The appliances are from 2024 and in great condition, and the unit was remodeled in 2024 with LVP flooring, new paint, new kitchen cabinets, and an updated bathroom with a tile surround.
You get a storage spot in the attic.
There is a no smoking policy, and there's a back porch. Enough said. No smoking really means "Keep the fumes out of the unit" anyways.
Now, for the bad:
The bathroom fan needs to be left on for awhile after a shower, or mold will eventually grow.
This is a 4 unit building, so do expect to hear some noise here and there. Not of the love making sorts.
People love to dump stuff in the dumpster. Sometimes people illegally dump furniture at the back next to the dumpster. I do my best to keep up with it, but it is something to put up with, sometimes for up to a few days before the next trash pickup. You will have your own trash and recycling bin though.

The renter is responsible for electric and gas. The owner is responsible for water and sewer. No smoking of any kind allowed. Go outside if you need to smoke. There is an off street parking space included with rent. First month's rent and security deposit due upon signing. The lease duration is for 1 year. It is the tenants responsibility to make sure that plumbing remains unclogged through using hair and food traps. There is an area for storage included. There are also hookups for a washer and dryer, but a washer and dryer is not supplied.
