Hello, future roommate! I'm looking for someone to take over my current roommate's lease starting June 1 (move-in date is flexible).… You'd have two rooms in a home with a large backyard in the desirable St. Johns neighborhood on Tioga Ave. It's about half a mile from downtown St. Johns and very close to a convenience store, four grocery stores, and great food/bar/entertainment spots (Leisure Public House, St. Johns Theater, Mosaic Taphouse, etc.). Cathedral Park is also only about a mile away! About the house: Spacious home with a modern, open-concept living room and kitchen, updated dishwasher, and large fridge. Our bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, and you'd have a private bathroom plus an extra room that's currently used as an office/gaming space. The backyard is large, with apricot and peach trees, raspberries, and plenty of room for anything else you'd want to grow. There's also a great firepit and BBQ. Washer/dryer in unit. Shared spaces are mostly furnished, but I'm open to adding or swapping furniture. About you: Working professional (ideally not fully remote) who enjoys being social but also respects shared space. You value positivity, have a good sense of humor, and are open to communicating to keep things comfortable for everyone. LGBT+-friendly household, and you should be okay with occasional pets on the property. Non-smoking preferred. Background/credit check required. Rent is $1200 month-to-month (6- and 12-month options available) with a $600 security deposit. Utilities run about $150.
