If I receive official military orders transferring me back to the Chesapeake, VA area or otherwise requiring relocation, I may terminate the lease early in accordance with applicable Virginia law and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, with proper written notice and a copy of my orders. Tenant is responsible for the cost of repairing any damage beyond normal wear and tear. If the cost of repairs is greater than the security deposit, tenant will remain responsible for the additional amount, and I will provide an itemized statement and supporting documentation in line with Virginia law.
