Lease terms
Renters insurance required (which is typically inexpensive) with proof being provided before lease signing and/or move in. There is pet deposit of $400 which is fully refundable. It is due prior to occupancy. Each adult applicant residing at the house is required to submit an application. Military transfer clause for active duty military. Minimum 1 year lease that can go month to month after 1 year. All utilities (Newport News Waterworks, electric, HRSD) paid by tenant. Security deposit due within 2 days of lease signing. The signed lease and security deposit "reserves" or "secures" the house. No subletting on lease.

The house is convenient to bases, shopping, interstate, schools, beaches, parks and nature areas. Perfect location for those that enjoy short commutes to work with little traffic.
The kitchen was updated recently with new countertops, and new stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave). The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and counter-space. Many other improvements were made such as new plumbing fixtures, new vanity in the bathroom, new light fixtures, ceiling fans, etc.
The house has a good size family/living room and each bedroom and the family room have ceiling fans. Parking is either in the garage or in the driveway with space for several vehicles. Every window has mini-blinds. The garage is attached with entry from the kitchen
