The downstairs tiki bar provides a proper venue for vacation beverages, and the outdoor seating area is ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach. A sand shower is available for rinsing off after beach visits, and the fully fenced backyard is a safe space for kids and dogs to play. Garage access is available for guest use. A charcoal grill is provided for use in the downstairs patio area. Located just a 5-minute walk or 1-minute drive from the beach, this home is situated on the Bolivar Peninsula in Crystal Beach, known for its wide, drivable beaches, fishing, local restaurants, and laid-back coastal vibe. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to amenities like grocery stores, bait shops, and ice. Explore nearby seafood spots, beach bars, live music venues, fishing charters, and family-friendly attractions. Vehicles are allowed directly on the beach with a valid parking permit, making beach days convenient. Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco, marijuana, or similar products are strictly prohibited inside the home. Evidence of smoking inside the property will result in an additional cleaning fee. Before checking out, please double-check the home for personal belongings; if items are left behind and you would like them returned, a $50 handling fee plus the actual shipping cost will be charged. Grilling on the upstairs deck is strictly prohibited and violates Galveston County fire regulations. Never leave the grill unattended while in use. Self check-in is simple with a lockbox code provided before arrival. If a key is lost, the access code is forgotten, or you are unable to enter after all access options have been exhausted, guests are responsible for any locksmith, re-key, labor, parts, call-out, or after-hours fees, unless the issue is caused by a lock malfunction, smart lock failure, or host error. Bring bug spray, as Crystal Beach mosquitoes can be prevalent. After visiting the beach, please rinse off sand using the sand shower or available water hoses, and leave sandy shoes on the deck by the front door. Do not flush feminine hygiene products, wipes, paper towels, or anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Do not pour grease, oil, or food scraps down the drains; damage caused by misuse of the septic system may result in additional charges. Park on the driveway only and use caution when parking to avoid hitting the house pilings. If something is broken or damaged during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible. Guests may be responsible for repairs or replacement costs resulting from negligent, reckless, or intentional damage. Please lock all doors when leaving the property and at checkout. If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible behavior, violations of house rules, illegal activity, or excessive disturbances, no refund will be provided for unused nights. If your trip must be canceled due to a mandatory tropical storm or hurricane evacuation order, a full refund will be provided. Crystal Beach does not have lifeguards on duty, and swimming and beach activities are at your own risk. Children should be supervised at all times near water. Maximum occupancy is 9 guests. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Additional visitors must be approved in advance. No parties, events, large gatherings, or unauthorized guests. Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with the cookware, dishes, and utensils needed for everything from big family meals to late-night snacks, along with board games, books, and reading materials for downtime between beach trips.
