Top floor 2-bedroom apartment in a beautiful rural area of Westbrook. 5 min drive to several hiking trails and boat launch on Highland Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Westbrook, and 20 minutes from downtown Portland. We (the landlords) live onsite in the downstairs unit. The unit has a glass-top electric stove, dishwasher, in-unit laundy, and a large walk in closet. We will also allocate storage space in the garage for tenants and could negotiate space for gardening on the one-acre lot if that is something you are interested in.

      Water and sewer are included, and there are two off street parking spots. Heat will be included until May 2024, afterwards tenants will pay for heat. (The unit is currently heated partially by heat pumps, partly oil baseboard but will transition fully to heat pumps in 2024, after which heat will be included in the tenant's electric bill.) Cats are welcome, and possibly dogs (we would want to meet the dog). Since we live downstairs, we're looking for quiet, friendly tenants (to match our own lifestyle). We don't smoke, and will require no smoking in the apartment. We are leasing for 12 months, and will require a one month security deposit to be paid on signing, along with the first month's rent.
