I am a landlord, listing this new basement unit (fully separate apartment) completed in 2018 in the house with large windows, updated stainless appliances. We are looking to occupy 1 of 2 rooms. Currently my former tenant who occupied a room upstairs will likely to move into one of the rooms. He is a Japanese, pursuing his PhD in UW. I lived with him for 1 year and he is the best housemate you can ask for. Since many people message me without noticing this is a **basement** I want to emphasize it again. Every room has large windows and very bright, but there is a part of the hallway that is a bit low where anyone who is 5'9 or over may have to bend over slightly to cross. Otherwise the units are very spacious and bright with a lot of storage spaces! Spacious 1000sqft apartment 2BR/1Bath, in-unit W/D private for the basement unit. Location is 2 blocks away from basic staples around 15th and 85th NW, including Metropolitan Market, Safeway, Domino Pizza, and various banks. The place is 5 mins drive/8 mins bus/20 mins walk to old Ballard. Some top restaurants are only 10 blocks away (~10-15 mins walk) on 70th including Fat Hen (popular for brunch), Frankie and Jo's (vegan ice cream), Rosellini's Fine Cakes & Baked Goods (amazing bakery). Greenwood is also very accessible with amazing restaurant and bar choices. Street parking is also available for free. The rooms can be available from Aug 1st, 2026. Utilities will be shared among all the residents in the house - currently, it will be split across 4 residents, including residents upstairs with a separate entrance.
