The unit is a 3-bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, ground unit condo with a patio in University Place (behind UCB Kroger) in a great location with shopping, dining, and the 460 Bypass nearby. It's on the UCB bus line, the bus stops in front of Dollar General (drop off) and in front of University Mall (pickup). It's a 3-minute drive or 16-minute walk to the outskirts of Virginia Tech. There is bike parking outside the unit, and plenty of car parking is available. Two male undergrad students occupy two bedrooms. The bedroom for rent is about 12 x 9 (108 sq ft). The bedroom is furnished with a bed, mattress, chest of drawers, desk, and chair. The living and dining rooms are furnished and the kitchen has basic appliances and dishware. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The unit has central heat and air. The bathroom is shared with one other male roommate. Rent is $700 per room with water, and garbage, included. Electricity and the internet (WiFi) are split equally 3 ways, paid by the tenants. The lease is per room from August 2026, through July 2027. A $700 security deposit is required to move in. No smoking or underage drinking. No guns of any kinds are allowed. Undergrads and Grad students are welcome. No pets are allowed. Owner pays water, sewer, and garbage.
