* Preferably 12-month lease starting July 1 (both negotiable). * Internet included! * Every tenant will pay 1/3 of the other monthly utility bills: gas, water, trash, and electricity. We'll send the monthly statements to the tenants by e-mail. Note that the solar panel will lower the electricity bills. * Both the tenant and parent apply as applicant and co-applicant. * Applicants need to fill out an application and authorize a background/credit check. * A security deposit equal to the last month's rent is due at signing. Refundable if there is no damage, unpaid rent, etc. * Last month's rent due at signing. It's a non-refundable prepayment applied directly to the tenant's final month's tenancy. * Please, keep the noise to a minimum. * Tenants will establish the cleaning schedule and share the cleaning chores of all shared spaces: kitchen, living room, hallways, shared bathroom, etc. * No smoking or vaping. * No pets. * No parties.

About the building

We have a bedroom available in a 3-bedroom house located in a quiet neighborhood a very short drive or a short bus trip to the University, and a quick… walk to Liberty Park. Perfect for students looking for a focused study environment close to campus. One bedroom is already occupied by our son, a Biochemistry sophomore. The available bedroom is in the basement, and it is about 12' 1" x 10' 9". The bathroom is private. This bedroom is fully furnished with a Murphy full bed, mattress, brand new adjustable desk, and chair. The shared living room is nicely furnished with a couch, coffee table, chair, TV stand, and a 55" TV. The shared kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, rice maker, pots and pans, and other kitchen stuff. There is a small dining area with a round table and chairs. We also have a shared workout room with a bench, barbell, and a few weights. The house has AC, and the air filtration system. Washer and dryer are in the basement. There is a nice grassy area with patio furniture on the side of the house. There is ample street parking in front of the house, and plenty of storage in the garage, basement, and shed.
