The neighborhood

About the building

Okay, I have a confession. I know exactly where I live, and I'm going to be a little insufferable about it. I'm 824 Silo Park Drive, tucked into Holding Village, where the neighborhood has actual silos, a 15-acre lake, a gorgeous community pool, trails, pocket parks, green spaces and the kind of scenery that can turn "I'm just going for a quick walk" into an hour-long disappearance. This is not a neighborhood where you pull into the garage and forget the outside world exists. Around here, the outside world is kind of the point. And Wake Forest? Oh, she's having a moment. You get that small-town charm people keep trying to manufacture elsewhere, except here it's real, with local restaurants, shops, community events and a downtown that actually makes you want to park the car and wander around for a while. Then you come home to Holding Village and remember that your neighborhood has a LAKE. It's honestly a little ridiculous. Now that I've properly bragged about my location, we can discuss me. Step inside and I'm bright, open and seriously good-looking. Those dark floors against the crisp white kitchen? Yes, I noticed too. My oversized granite island anchors the main level with plenty of room to spread out, while white cabinetry, stainless appliances, gas cooking and pendant lighting keep everything looking sharp. The living and dining areas join the party without chopping the main floor into a collection of tiny boxes. Everybody gets to be together without everybody being on top of each other. There's a difference. Head upstairs and things get even better. I've got three bedrooms, 2.5 baths AND a loft, because apparently regular upstairs space wasn't enough for me. Make it an office. A movie spot. A reading room. A gaming zone. A workout room where the equipment may or may not eventually become decorative. I'm not keeping score. My primary bedroom understood that bedrooms are supposed to feel like somewhere you actually want to end the day. It's spacious, finished with a tray ceiling, and paired with an en suite featuring a long dual-sink vanity and walk-in shower. No morning sink negotiations required. That's called domestic diplomacy. I've also got a two-car rear-load garage. Not "technically two cars if everyone holds their breath." Two-car garage. And because the garages are tucked around back, the front of the neighborhood gets to keep all that charming streetscape you noticed when you pulled in. But here's where living here starts feeling different from simply renting another townhome. Summer afternoon? Go to the pool. Need to clear your head? Take a walk by the lake. Beautiful evening? You have trails for that. Feel like doing absolutely none of those things? Also acceptable. You can stay home and admire the lawn you don't have to mow because lawn care is handled for you. I believe leisure should come with options. I'm pet-friendly with owner approval, subject to weight restrictions and applicable fees, and I'm convenient to everything that makes Wake Forest such an easy place to love. So yes, technically you're looking for a three-bedroom townhome. But I think you're really looking for Saturday mornings by the lake. Pool afternoons. Evening walks. A neighborhood that feels good when you turn onto your street. A home with enough room for real life and a community that gives you reasons to actually leave it. And if your address happens to be Silo Park Drive while you're doing all of that? Well, that's just showing off. Requirements: minimum 625 credit score, verifiable income of at least 2.5x the monthly rent, a clear background check, and no prior evictions. The first month's rent, security deposit and processing fee is due at lease signing. All appliances are included. No smoking. Tenant pays for all utilities.
