The cottage overlooks the beautiful tidal marshes of Essex with water views and conservation land. The Cox Reservation offers grass walking trails and access to Essex River. A half mile walk takes you into Essex's vibrant shops and restaurants. The cottage is in pristine condition with all new appliances. All exterior and interiors of the house have freshly been painted. Lots of windows and skylights bring sunshine into every room. Brand new splits added to the first and second floor for heating and cooling. MASS Save will give a discounted electric rate for the spilits in the winter months. Also, MASS Save weatherized the basement with insulation making the house weather tight. The living room has a cast iron gas stove which adds ambience and warmth in the colder months. The upstairs has a one plus bedroom. A large open space with a skylight is the main bedroom without a door. The second bedroom is 7x10 with a large closet and has a door for privacy. There is a designated laundry room with a sink and storage cabinets. The house has an enclosed insulated porch with views of the marsh. In a separate room off the porch is a large area for storage. The landlord lives across the driveway in a separate house.
