A corner room with an incredible view of the mountains. Large closet. Full bath is shared with one other. The room is furnished with a twin bed which leaves lots of space for other furniture - a desk, cabinet, and bookshelf are available if desired. A double/queen bed can also fit well if you prefer.
Near to all the hospitals (5 min drive), university, and JBER. Near to trails for walking or cross-country skiing. 15 minutes from downtown. 17 minutes from airport. 5 minute walk from bus stop, but having your own vehicle is recommended. Less than an hour from famous Alyeska ski resort. 5 minutes from new Nordic Spa in Anchorage.
Your 2 future housemates are both professionals in their 40s, one M one F. There are two lovable cats on the premises (no additional pets allowed). Cozy yet spacious living room has plants, local art, and lots of light. Big shared kitchen and dining area. Back deck and large yard to enjoy, including a hammock and apple trees. If you're enjoying the outside Alaska life, we have lots of storage and room to dry and store your gear, bike, skis, etc.
The view of the mountains from your room is unique in the city and the vibes of our home are really special. This is the space for you if you'd rather live in a HOME than in a bland rental with cheap kitchen utensils and a plastic plant. You even get access to our shared board game & art supplies closet. Our fourth bedroom is in the process of being turned into a meditation room.
In-home laundry washer&dryer. All the kitchen amenities are available for you to use. Gas range. Lots of available on-street parking. Quiet street with minimal traffic. Rent includes all utilities, including 5G wifi.

Vaping outside is okay but no cigarettes please.
Important accessibility note: There are outside stairs to reach the front door and inside stairs to access the living spaces - mobility impaired folks please be advised.
