This is a room for rent in a 2-bedroom walk-up garden style apartment (meaning it is one of several separate apartment units in a large house).… Bedroom is approx. 9x12 ft with a closet. Additional closets are available for storage.
Minutes walk to bus stops, 10 minute drive to central Takoma Park. Shopping centers and laundromat within short walking distance . You would be sharing with the leaseholder (female in 30s, quiet, respectful, works for a nonprofit and makes art) and a very affectionate, well-behaved cat. Open to other animals!
Other tenant is moving in June 1 and the other bedroom will be available July 1. (Or mid-June on a case -by-case basis). I have more availability than is listed for tours.
Shared bathroom, large living room, new granite countertops and kitchen cabinets. Secure and clean. Shared back patio/balcony with next-door unit. Other tenants in building are two single people in their 60s and a family with a well-behaved quiet child.
Wi-fi and electric (owner of property pays all other utilities) would be shared by the two tenants. Seeking someone quiet and respectful who can provide pay stubs indicating consistent employment.
No loud music or indoor smoking (420 friendly, but to a certain degree). No personal drama (don't bring your boyfriend and fight, etc.) This is a good deal but I do expect basic co-living etiquette.
