Unassigned parking is available in the parking lot. Ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft are also options for getting around. A local bus service runs along the island and connects to nearby destinations, operating daily during peak season and on weekends during the off-season. For guests arriving by plane, the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is approximately 12 miles away.
Located directly on the beach in the heart of Okaloosa Island, this condo is just minutes from convenient restaurants and bars. Explore the historic Fort Walton Beach downtown area with its various attractions and landmarks.
There is a no-smoking policy inside the condo or on the balcony. A $500 smoke damage cleaning fee will be charged if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after checkout. Check-in time is 4pm or after, and check-out time is 10am. Guests are required to communicate with the host before booking if they are locals. Early check-in is available for a $50 fee and requires host confirmation. Late check-out until 12 noon is available for a $50 fee and requires host confirmation. Guests must report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 2 hours of check-in. The Islander has a strict policy on noise levels, so please be considerate of neighbors. A starter kit of basic supplies is provided, and guests may need to purchase additional supplies depending on their stay. Luggage carts are available in the lobby. The property is equipped with a state-of-the-art contactless entry system. Guests must be 22 years of age or older at the time of booking. Shoes should be removed when inside the home. Guests agree to pay for any damage made to the property or its furnishings. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Guests are responsible for reporting hazardous items. The property is not child-proofed. Host, or Host's Agent, may enter the Property at any time in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours' notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. Guests agree to pay any documented loss of host income created by Guest violating house rules. Costs to replace any lost or damaged keys is $25 per key. Guests are asked to dispose of food in the trash can and use the garbage disposal for small food remnants only. Eating food in any bedroom is prohibited. Guests shall not re-key or change out door locks. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction. Items removed from the premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are asked to be respectful of bed sheets and towels, and to avoid using them with makeup, hair dye, or tanning products. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning.
