ABOUT THE HOUSE: 3 mo minimum stay, with discounted rate for a 12 mo lease. Upscale space, share with professionals/ artist owners, application required. ARCHITECTURALLY RENOVATED VICTORIAN HOME Hardwood floors and oriental carpets. Original woodwork. New gourmet kitchen, large dining room. Generous living room with grand piano. Art and artifacts . . . Bathrooms on each floor... 3 full baths and 1 half bath. Two washers and dryers. Porch swing and two seating areas on covered porch. 3 rooms available, 3 floors + basement Third floor has skylights, vaulted ceiling, open studio, kitchenette. (This can be rented as a private unit w/ 2 bedrooms). THE PEOPLE: Owners are artists (one is a clay artist/painter, one a cartoonist). We are part time in Clearwater, part time in Michigan. Traveling medical staff often stay (3 mo.+) and Blue Oval contract workers. Also, professionals, teachers, artists, consultants, advanced students. A flight instructor from WMU is currently in residence, along with a project manager for an Blue Oval and an auto body repair specialist. They're great housemates. This is a quiet place, great for study, a good nite's sleep and peaceful living. We aspire to "leave no trace". We keep a pretty healthy diet, mostly organic or non GMO . We recycle, clean up after ourselves, treat others with kindness and make the world a better place for being here. A non-smoking, drug free, and minimal alcohol use home. Coffee and chocolate are okay :) :) Everybody pitches in to keep the inside and outside in order and beautiful. We compost and plant herbs and vegetables between the flowers, buy our own supplies and food. We love to share meals when it works out. NEIGHBORHOOD: This historic neighborhood is pleasant and peaceful. It is a mile to downtown, the Bronson or KCC. Ample on street parking if you have a car. Great for a researcher, writer, artist, student, musician or medical professional. ROOM CHOICES 2ND FLOOR: Robins-egg room. Has a full size pillow top bed, built in desk, ceiling fan. 2 large windows, overlooks back yard and street. $750/mo + util. with 3 mo. minimum. Periwinkle room. A bit larger. Antique iron/brass full bed w/memory foam, ceiling fan, built-in desk with cabinets. 2 windows overlook back and side yards. $775/mo + util. with 3 mo. minimum. Spring green room. Very large. Two beds (full and twin), a wall of bookshelves with books and art, walk in closet, cherry table, ceiling fan, 3 windows overlook side yard and street. $875/mo + util. with 2 mo. min. ROOM CHOICE 3RD FLOOR Heidelberg room. Pillow top full size bed, long built-in desk with skylight above, unique divided light wall, bathroom right next to it, French doors to the room. Great sleeping room. $775/mo + util. Camillo room. Smallest and most economical. Great full mattress, skylight, large closet, built in desk, transom window. Adjoins loft space, shared by both rooms. $725 + util. for 3 mo. min. For a 12 month lease, reduce the monthly rent by $50 for your chosen room.
