Lease terms
90-day minimum lease required per condo association. Prospective renters will need to submit application ($150) to The Beaches of Longboat Key before lease can be approved and signed. Upon approval and lease signing an additional and refundable security deposit ($500) will be due to The Beaches of Longboat Key. Owner to pay for utilities during lease period. Monthly rent does not include 13% sales tax (state of Florida and Sarasota county) which will be added to the monthly cost and collected by owners. If rented for longer than 6 months sales tax does not apply and will not be collected. $5,000 deposit must be paid to owner within 10 days of condo association approval and lease execution, with balance for at least 90-day minimum stay due no later than 45 days before move-in. For stays beyond three months, monthly payments will be considered starting in month 4.
