Grocery stores, schools, and coffee shops are all within a short drive. Outdoor lovers will like how easy it is to reach trails and green spaces nearby. This private 850sf space rental is in a 2500 sf two-story single-family home. It is ideal for someone who wants privacy but not total isolation. The space includes a comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed, end tables, a dresser, and a closet. There's a private bathroom just for tenant use with a full-size shower/tub combo, single vanity, and standard fixtures. Your space includes a den that's fully set up with a smart TV, couch, recliner, a desk and chair, a wet bar, microwave, small refrigerator, basically your chill zone. The home has a private entrance through the garage, where you'll also get your parking spot. The shared spaces are clean and well-kept. The kitchen is open-concept, fully furnished, and has an oversized island with five bar chairs, perfect for casual meals or catching up over coffee. The appliances are full-size and stainless steel, and the layout makes it easy to cook or meal prep with everything close at hand. The dining area has a full table for six, separate from the kitchen, so there's space to sit down for more formal meals too. The flooring mix works well for each area: Brazilian cherry wood upstairs, linoleum in the kitchen and bathrooms, and carpet downstairs in the den and private bedroom. The ceilings in the main living areas are vaulted, which makes the space feel bigger and more open. Outside, the back deck is a real highlight. There's a seating area with Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit, which is nice for summer nights. The yard is private thanks to fencing and greenery around the edges. All utilities are included in the rent. No pets allowed.

Housemate details

Mike and Jane are long time Alaskans retired since 2023. We enjoy having a roommate. Our routines include going to the gym, outside hiking or biking, shopping, dining or visiting friends. We have most of our meals at home as we both enjoy cooking.
