I have renovated the house myself so I am looking for someone who is responsible and mindful of the property, so you must be clean and non-destructive. Pets allowed w/ refundable deposit; no "aggressive" breeds please (per my insurance, so sorry!). All utilities minus WIFI/TV included and the house has in-home washer/dryer included. This is my personal home that I live in when it is not being rented out, so I take great care of the place and you can expect maintenance to be taken seriously. The neighborhood itself is directly off Exit 9 of I-475 so there is easy access to the city as well. Major hospitals and downtown Macon nightlife are 15 minutes away by car. Major shopping is right outside the neighborhood. INQUIRE ABOUT: Fully furnished option & lawn maintenance options. ABOUT THE AREA: Neighborhood is gated, and access will be via the front gate only. 5 minutes to Walmart, Kroger, CVS, and gas stations. Immediate interstate access. 15 minutes to historic downtown Macon with dining, museums, and nightlife. Macon also has plenty of ancient/historic places to visit, museums to see, and public trails to explore. We are also very close (40 minutes) to High Falls State Park and Dauset Trails/Noahs Ark public zoo. Atlanta is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. LEASE: You are invited to rent out the entire home and have it privately to yourself. 1-year minimum lease with option to renew. PETS: There is a lockable pet door for your small pet to access the back balcony and yard. There is a four foot wire fence enclosing the backyard. RENT INCLUDES: all utilities & trash collection city fees. House may be fully furnished with all one would need inquire within. Regarding yard maintenance: can be arranged but is not included; tenant may either use provided service, or, if you wish to cut the grass yourself, you may use my provided electric mower. Grass only needs to be cut in the summer months, as it goes dormant and does not grow taller in the cooler weather. Tenant is also responsible for cleaning and taking the trash to the curb once a week. INSIDE: Thoughtfully appointed open concept home with panoramic lake views, screened in back porch, central vac/automatic dustpan inlets, two living areas (one of which has 5.1 surround sound speakers w/ Bluetooth), custom dining bench w/storage, custom kitchen. The master bedroom has blackout curtains, large custom closet, and several full length mirrors with outfit lighting. The ensuite has a large double sink, wall to wall vanity, exposed brick accent wall, linen closet, and huge luxurious tub with separate handheld shower & rainfall shower fixtures, tub filler, and sliding glass door. The guest bathroom/bedroom is accessible to you as well and has an ADA height toilet, sink, and tub/shower combo. OUTSIDE: A double French door leads out to the screened in balcony, where you'll find ceiling fans, dimmable bistro lights, counter space, and a table with plenty of seating. There is also a futon I turned into a porch swing which you can lay back flat and sleep on during the cooler fall nights. The screens can be lifted out of the way in the cooler months. In the backyard there is a firepit, huge dock, boat slip, and lake right out back which you are free to enjoy. The yard is fully fenced in with a four foot chickenwire fence, plus string lighting in the yard and lighting for the dock. MAINTENANCE: No maintenance issues for you! Since I worked on this house myself, I am personally vested in keeping this place in tip top shape for the both of us, so maintenance requests or issues (should they arise) will be taken care of promptly. I am not the type of landlord to let things negatively impact the experience or the home. Lawn care can be arranged. PARKING: Non-covered parking located in the front driveway; garage access per request, please set this up with me prior.
