We are renting our home starting August 15.… The house is 0.3mi walk to the Darien Metro North Train Station to Grand Central Terminal. Also within walking distance is Tilley Pond Park and downtown Darien with restaurants, stores, salons and coffee shops.
Our beautiful two-story home has 4 sunny bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. On the main level, the kitchen, eating area and living room are open to each other, making for a welcoming and social space (with a powder room off the kitchen). Appliances are Maytag, Kenmore and Subzero. There is a working wood-burning fireplace in the living room which is charming in the winter. At the front of the home, there is a glassed-in porch which can serve as a children's play area or auxiliary room. On the second level there are the 4 bedrooms. The master has its own on suite full bathroom with shower. The second bath is off the stair landing with a tub. The basement has laundry (Maytag and LG) and ample storage space. There is also a detached two-car garage and large, enclosed backyard.
The house will rent unfurnished for $6000/m with a minimum year lease. We will have an Open House Sunday, June 28th from 12-3p. Additional private showings can be arranged by appointment. Because the house is currently occupied, please do not arrive without an appointment. Thank you!
