This five bedroom recently renovated house is nestled in the heart of black mountain.… There is a large salt water pool out back, and a cedar soak hot tub. The front yard is fenced in, and there is a yard by the pool, and an additional yard space by the hot tub.
Inside the home has two levels.
Upstairs: an open kitchen centered between the living room and the sun room. The sunroom is a birders paradise. Windows all around with feeders hanging from each. All kitchen appliances and surfaces are new. No washer and dryer however. There are 3 bedrooms. The master is a medium sized room, and the second bedroom is medium-small, and the third bedroom is quite small, but we fit a king sized bed in it with room for a table. There are closets in all the rooms. The larger bathroom is newly renovated. The 1/2 bathroom is the only part of the house that wasn't re-modeled. But it functions fine. No bath in the house- showers only.
Downstairs: we finished the basement with an open kitchen in a small living room. There is a couch and small dining table in the living space. There is one full bathroom, but it is TINY. Tiny sink, small shower, and a toilet. Nothing fancy, but it was recently re modeled. Two bedrooms in the basement, one is medium-small (more on the smallish side) with a king bed an unfinished closet space, room for a dresser and a small chair. The master bedroom downstairs is a decent size. Tile flooring. There is a laundry room downstairs. (Small with a stacking unit).
The pool is pretty amazing here. Salt water.. very refreshing and large for swimming laps. The cedar soak hot tub is also new and a nice finish.
Out front is a nice little yard, fenced in, perfect for kids.
The location can't be beat. 2 blocks from the golf course/lake Tomohawk park. You can walk downtown, or run/bike to Montreat. Just writing this makes me miss living there!
This is a great spot for families. The neighborhood is quiet and very welcoming.
