About the building
This home is very open and uses all its space well. Three bedrooms, large open living room/kitchen and dining room. New roof.… There are hardwood floors in the LR/DR and tile in the kitchen/laundry room and almost new carpet in the bedrooms. The laundry room/mud room is off the side door and leads into the kitchen.
Off street parking in the long driveway. You can pull up right to the mud room door and park. The yard is small which is a plus if you don't like to mow! Many updates including electrical and ceiling fans. Close to downtown. Fridge and stove provided. There are storage cabinets in the hallway. Central heat and air and a new roof a few years ago.
The security deposit is equal to the rent and is refundable.
Approved pets are allowed with restrictions. Pet rent is $35+/month for one pet over a year old. The Pet deposit/pet fee of half the rent is required with half being refundable.
We have an online application available making it easy to get approved. You can also put down a security deposit online, sign the lease and set up auto payments online if you wish.
Renters insurance is required.
This is a great house in a great location and community. Clay Center is a wonderful place to raise a family and just get away from JC and Fort Riley. The house is about 35 minutes from Fort Riley and 35- 40 minutes from Manhattan. There is a new park just a few blocks away! Over the last years, Clay Center has built two new playgrounds, put in a new Aquatic Park and we completely renovated our FREE Zoo. We also have several other parks, 2 golf courses (1 public & 1 private) as well as many restaurants, shops, stores, bars & other activities. We have everything you need for day to day living without all the downsides to the bigger cities.
