The large backyard includes a 6-foot privacy fence and is great for children, pets, and barbecues. The large basement provides extensive storage space and includes washer and dryer hook-ups. The home includes refinished original hard-wood floors. It also includes freshly painted walls and trim along with a nice arch connecting the living room and dining room. Modern weather efficient recently were recently installed to replace all of the bigger downstairs windows, and insulation was recently upgraded in the attic (along with a solar fan to disperse air from the attic) to help with heating/cooling efficiency and cost. The house is about a mile from shopping and entertainment at the famous Del Mar Loop, about two miles from the main campus of Washington University, and about 20 minutes from downtown St Louis. Pets are allowed but must be approved (no fee). If your initial application appears promising, the applicant will need to pay a nonrefundable a fee for background check. In addition to other background factors, the applicant must demonstrate sufficient income to be accepted as a tenant.
