Short walk to a Saturday farmer's market, Lake Merritt, and Lakeshore shopping district that includes several restaurants, Trader Joe's, and Peet's. Short bike ride to 19th Street and Lake Merritt BART stations.
Appliances include combo clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric stove, heater/air conditioner, ceiling fan, refrigerator, and microwave oven. Other features include French doors, insulated window shades, adjustable shelving in closets, dimmable LED lighting, smart lighting controls, smart thermostat, and unit-specific smart security alarm system. Our family lives in the main house and we'll share the backyard. The ADU is detached, with a separate entrance accessed by walking past the house, through a gate, and into the back yard. We have a large friendly dog that has access to the shared backyard. If you don't like dogs or you frequently have guests that do not like dogs, this is probably not a good fit. No storage outside of the ADU allowed. No smoking or vaping in ADU nor on premises.
Unit is perfect for one person, but could work for two people. One pet (cat or dog) possible, if tenant and landlord agree it's a good match for property, families, and pets.
