Having lived in it ourselves, the cooking facilities are limited. The spa bathroom, the sauna, the massage chair, the piano, the stage, and the library make it a very lovely space to inhabit. The property is located adjacent to the Creek House Diner, which is the local watering hole and crossroads, and there is a small shop with essentials and basic groceries across the road at the gas station, all within 250 feet of your front door. This dance hall is on the Historic Register and dates back to the mid 19th century, with many original features remaining. It is the only remaining suspended-floor dance hall in North America, and this property is one of only a handful of remaining rural taverns on the continent. The space has been lovingly furnished with a stunning selection of antiques and rugs, giving it a unique atmosphere that is both warm and inspiring. We are letting this unit for the summer and autumn months, and there is an air conditioner that can be fitted into the window, sufficient to cool the space during the hotter months. To the rear of the property is a beautiful section of the Locust Creek, with pools for dipping, large shade trees, a sandy beach, and fields and woods on the other side.
