Standard Lease Terms LadderUp Housing Lease term: Standard 6-month lease. Security deposit: Typically equal to one month's rent, due at lease signing. Additional deposits may apply based on screening results or pets. Move-in costs: First month's rent, last month's rent, security deposit, and any approved fees are due in full before keys are released. Application and screening: Online application required for each adult 18 or older. Screening includes credit, background, income, and rental history. All applications are reviewed individually as part of our overall qualification process. Income guidelines: Household gross monthly income generally should be at least 3.5 times the monthly rent. Exceptions may be considered based on overall strength of the application. Rent payments: Rent is due on the 1st of each month and paid through our online resident portal.
