Easy commute to San Francisco/San Jose/Gilroy via electric CalTrain. Short drive to downtown Palo Alto (7 mins) and Stanford Shopping Mall. Windows are all new Milgard aluminum double-paned windows, bathroom is fully remodeled and fixtures are brand new. See pictures/captions for details. Owner pays for electricity, water, garbage. Garbage/reycyling bins are shared with owner who lives in the main house. Flat fee for utilities. Would like an annual lease, if possible. Lease can be longer than a year. We are flexible. Centrally located in the College Terrace neighborhood of Palo Alto, this ADU/cottage offers you privacy and quiet living while being close to many of the amenities Palo Alto has to offer. - 2 Blocks from south end of Stanford University campus - Walking distance to California Avenue shops and restaurants - Walking distance to CalTrain station (Go to San Francisco down to Gilroy) - Within 2 miles of U.S. 101 and Interstate 280 - Centrally located in Palo Alto and neighboring cities (Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Menlo Park, Redwood City, etc.) If you work at Stanford or in Palo Alto and are just looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. The ADU is small, but comfortable and cozy. Owners prefer to live quietly, so if that is your thing, this might be a great match.
