This spacious 1BR apartment is ideal for professors, grad students, and professionals.… It is located in the quiet and charming West College Heights neighborhood, 1.5 blocks from the Penn State golf course with its paved biking trail, and within easy walking distance of the Nittany Lion Inn and west campus. The modern apartment has windows in each room and gets lots of natural light. The quiet back yard has spaces for lounging, reading, working, or even starting your own garden! In-unit laundry includes washer and dryer. We are transitioning the apartment from an air bnb to a long-term rental, so all the appliances and furniture that you see in the photos are included for an effortless move-in.
Need to know: This is a walk-out basement / ground level unit on the lower level of the landlord's home. We are a family of four living above. We have 2 children, ages 4 and 6. Although the neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, our home on the floor above you can be busy and loud when our kids are both home! Their sleeping hours are typically between 9pm - 7am. If you are sensitive to noise outside of their sleeping hours, this apartment may not be a good fit for you. The backyard is shared with our family.
