Enjoy the afternoon shade from your large, private, wrap-around balcony.… This charming upper front unit with its classic New Orleans character gets great natural light. There are high ceilings, original wood floors throughout and many other original details are still intact. It's one of five units in a lovely building which is only 2 blocks from City Park. Also nearby are Carrollton Ave restaurants and shopping, Delgado College and Bayou St. John. And the Endymion Parade passes just down the block- you can watch it from your balcony.
This location is a safe residential block where the neighbors know each other and are wonderful. There is ample street parking and this area isn't prone to flooding during downpours.
Washer & dryer are located in the building and shared with another unit. Water and garbage are included in rent. Cats are allowed and small dogs will be considered on a case by case basis. There is a $250 non-refundable pet deposit required.
Credit and criminal background checks are required for all applicants. All applicants are asked to apply through Zillow Rentals for one-time $35 fee which covers these background screenings and entitles you to apply to an unlimited number of participating properties for 30 days (otherwise $40 per tenant payable to owner of this unit). Rental criteria for this apartment requires a minimum credit score of 660, no criminal background or history of non-payment of rent. Tenant monthly income must be at least 3 times the monthly rent.
