Residents generally renew and stay for long periods of time, because of the atmosphere. Part of which is due to an occasional guest being fine, but we are all very considerate of others need for space and privacy. All Units include off street parking for your car: The home is large, so offers solitude as needed, in addition to AC, Cable "Access", Wireless Internet, Off Street Parking, Nice Appliances, Including Washer and Dryer, in a Good Neighborhood w/in the Historic District. Close to schools, shopping, bus-line, parks, I-86, tourist attractions, downtown and only 20 minutes from Corning, 30 from Watkins, Ithaca or Tioga Downs Casino and 45 from the Wellsboro Grand Canyon. Beautiful landscaping, flowers and lush green lawn (weed free and watered often). Most snow (it's NY!) and all lawn work taken care of by owner, including most house cleaning though as mentioned, I definitely ask you clean up after yourself. Rent for the BR is noted above, for an agreed upon set term, pro-rated depending on move date (Plus, $500 Deposit). - This includes most utilities (IE., heat, internet, water are all paid by me; electric &gas; cable may need a small $25 max surcharge depending on usage). - In addition, Rent may sometimes be negotiable for the right situation, special circumstances, House & Lawn work, Misc. expense reductions and/or if travel etc. - Again, all residents/tenants are Professionals, Grad Students or Interns, that all get along and yet also do their own thing, since our lives are so incredibly busy these days... I sincerely and respectfully ask you to please send a short note of interest for the opening, just as you do with a Realtor, Apartment Complex or for a job opening. - Please do not stop by without an appointment or tour prior the email and interview process. - Since I do not do formal applications or Tours, please include some type of proof of who you are (Linked-IN/FB or redacted resume) etc., what you do and any additional information that you feel will be helpful in the interview and "background check process; and I will respond in kind with my references". (Again just as you do with a Realtor or Apartment Complex or job opening). - I assure you that everyone in my home goes through the same vetting process, and that their Employer has done a thorough Background Check as part of their employment package. In addition, the Residents are happy we all go through it, and I'm hopeful that if the roles were reversed, and I was interviewing for an opening in your home, you'd want to do the same:) The next step, is where I will try and answer questions directly and reply in kind, including my references.
