Furnished house on the water of Shelburne Bay.… In addition to a beautiful master bedroom with an office, there is a guest bedroom with a desk, one and half bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and dining and living room area on the lake level. Both levels have magnificent views of the bay and Shelburne Peninsula. The expansive lawn reaches the bay for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and skating in winter. Water sports equipment is provided.
The private deck is terrific for seasonal meals and sunsets. Located only 6 miles from Burlington and UVM, many former renters biked to work.
The house is located in a very safe area with nearby walking, hiking and biking trails.
We reserve a third bedroom if we need to be in Vermont (perhaps a couple of weekends during this year) and live during the academic year in Massachusetts. Karen is a retired professor and Martin is a writer and Buddhist teacher.
Rent is $2000/month. Utilities, garbage, yard care, snow removal and internet included. Washing Machine and Dryer. Plenty of parking.
