I'm NOT looking to rent out the entire condo JUST THE ONE SPARE BEDROOM. So yes you will have a live-in landlord but I'm pretty laid-back, don't really have many rules. The room is 10'x12' with a closet and a window overlooking the backyard. You'll have your own room with the kitchen, living room, and dining room being common areas. The bathroom has a walk-in tile shower. It is a shared bathroom but it is a fairly decent size. There is second bathroom downstairs. There's a washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher. There are walkways throughout the neighborhood and a neighborhood pool that is open during the summer months. If you like animals, then you should enjoy living here, I have two dogs and a cat. I was in the middle of renovating the condo when some financial issues through a wrench into those plans. So there are some unfinished things here and there, but the room itself does not require work. This location would be great for a college student due to it being less than 10 minutes away from the local campuses. Or a nurse because it is extremely close to several major regional hospitals.
