Lease Term: Because this property is located directly across the street from the schools, the priority is to secure a stable, long-term renter. A minimum of a one-year lease is required. For your convenience, safety, and security, the owner is highly open to considering a longer lease term to provide lasting stability for your family and ensure your kids can walk right across the street to school every day. Utility Transfer: The tenant must contact Consumers Energy to transition both Gas and Electric services into their name before the lease start date. Water & Sewer Reimbursement: The tenant is responsible for reimbursing the owner for all water and sewer usage. In this municipality, the utility bills quarterly. Once the invoice has been created and provided to you, it must be paid in full prior to the listed due date. Renters Insurance: The tenant is required to maintain an active renters insurance policy to protect their personal belongings against potential loss.
