This lovely Park Forest home is situated on a quiet side street with friendly neighbors. It is a great place for a family with children, a visiting faculty member, or a professional new to the area. The property is available during the academic year (August through May). The house will be occupied through the end of July, but other than that limitation, beginning and end dates can be flexible. The eat-in kitchen is central to the home, with a large island and plenty of counter and storage space. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cookware, and the full slate of appliances, including coffeemaker, air fryer, mixer, etc. The kitchen flows into a living room with a gas fireplace and large windows, with a comfortable sitting area and large TV. The room opens up to an expansive deck with a private backyard, perfect for enjoying beautiful Pennsylvania evenings. The backyard also includes a gas grill and fire pit. A dining room, powder room, and a second living space complete the first floor. This large bonus family room includes a sectional couch, TV, and an assortment of games. This is the perfect place for entertaining friends from work or watching a Penn State football game. This room also has an additional glass slider that opens onto the back deck. The second floor features a large master bedroom with king bed, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with tile shower and dual vanity. There is a second full bath off the hall, along with three additional bedrooms. These bedrooms currently have a queen bed, double bed, and twin, but can be rearranged with the possibility of an additional twin. One of the bedrooms could easily be converted into an office. The basement features a spacious, finished laundry room with a sink, counter space, and ample room for storage. Our home is located close to the Park Forest Elementary and Middle Schools, as well as the Park Forest pool. It is 3 miles from Penn State's main campus. It is a few minutes' drive to the shops and restaurants on North Atherton. We are planning to leave the house furnished, but are happy to store away some items if you would prefer semi-furnished, or discuss other items that you may need. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. This home is the perfect place to experience life in State College; we look forward to welcoming you!
