This home has been incredibly special to us. Tucked down a long, winding driveway and surrounded by 2.5 acres of nature, it has been our private escape. Every time we came home, it felt peaceful and removed from the noise of the world. The rolling hills, ranch views, and mature trees, especially the huge pomegranate trees, give the property a quiet, almost Tuscan countryside feel that is hard to describe until you experience it. We poured a lot of care into modernizing the home. With five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and nearly 5,800 square feet, it has the scale to host and gather, but it still feels warm and livable. The plumbing and electrical were updated, the kitchen and bathrooms were thoughtfully redesigned, and we installed new flooring, fresh Benjamin Moore paint, and custom European linen curtains and Roman shades throughout. Every decision was made to make the home feel clean, elevated, and timeless. The outdoor space became one of our favorite parts of living here. The pool and spa were completely updated, and the outdoor kitchen made hosting easy and fun. We spent evenings around the fire pit, made pizzas in the stone oven, watched games under the covered bar area, and enjoyed quiet nights by the fireplace near the grove of Sequoia trees. It truly feels like a private resort. Inside, there is a theater room for movie nights and an office with its own private deck that became a peaceful place to work. Each secondary bedroom has its own entrance, outdoor seating area, and full bath, which gave everyone space and privacy. The primary suite is something we will miss deeply. The covered deck looks out toward the mountains, and sunset up there is unforgettable. There is even a charming stone cottage overlooking open land that could be used for horses or a hobby farm. The location has always been a gift. Being in Old Agoura near Cheeseboro National Park meant instant access to thousands of acres of trails for hiking, biking, or riding. Yet we were only minutes from town, the freeway, beaches, and the highly regarded Las Virgenes schools. We recently moved to Westlake, which is the only reason we are listing this home. Letting it go is bittersweet. It has been more than just a house to us. It has been a retreat, a gathering place, and a space filled with memories. We hope the next family loves it as much as we have.
