We've nicknamed this space Piedmont Porch as it has a wonderful porch / deck area overlooking the courtyard!… Available 9/1 Appointment only; Please do not enter this property without an appointment. Amazing Piedmont Park location! PLEASE EMAIL (NO CALLS); $1399 private 1 bedroom/1 bath Mediterranean styled space with separate entrance in 1920s granite English manor home just 1 block from Piedmont Park. Prime locale on the "quiet side" of Piedmont Park. Renovated space includes 3 rooms, bathroom, decent storage, Mexican tile floors, and covered porch. Note: *Off street (partially covered) parking may be available for an extra amount. From the charming courtyard, enter the spacious new covered deck/porch. Off the porch step through the front door into the front room/breakfast room with 1" Ceramic tiled floor. Beyond the front room is a decent sized living room with a roomy closet. To the left of the living room is a smaller kitchen area with full sized appliances (fridge and oven just upgraded to stainless) and granite countertop. Beyond the living room is a Mexican tiled bathroom with a large "garden" style shower (no tub) and a charming built in shelves. The decent sized bedroom is next and it has a good sized closet/shelf area. There is no laundry onsite but a portable w/d can be used. The walls are 2' thick granite so the space stays at mild temperatures year-round but it does have electric baseboard heat and discretely placed window a/c if needed. This residence is located on the terrace level and is non-smoking but quiet pets are welcome (no size limit for dogs; but no vicious breeds). Basic utilities aren't included, but are packaged together for a base price of $199/mth (based on a formula in the lease). A year lease is preferred but other options considered. PS the bathroom currently is painted a neutral color, not the green shown in the photos.
