L train on 14th Street and Ave A. There's a new Trader Joes that just opened on 14th & C. There's a huge running track on Houston a block over where Zog sports plays a lot of games. Two free Outside public swimming are a block away as well. There's a Whole Foods down Houston street with a YMCA that has an Olympic sized swimming pool. SOHO, Lower East Side, NYU, Greenwich Village, Nolita, and of course all the East Village are close by. MTA has a website now that tells you the exact minute when the bus will be on the corner. Takes you north to 27th & 1st or south to Financial district (South End & Albany) M21 BUS Pick up 40 feet away on Houston. Takes you west to West Village, Soho & Tribeca M14C BUS Pick up 30 feet away on C. Takes you north to 14th street then west thru Union Square hitting almost all subways and ending in Chelsea at 23rd and West side highway.
