The neighborhood

About the building

Gorgeous recently restored Dunedin Craftsman Bungalow, on the coveted bricked Scotland St, walking distance to downtown. It has everything you could possibly want for relaxing living in Dunedin, FL. The house offers 2615sf, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, family room, dining room, laundry room and an amazing Florida room. A stylish front living room complete with a fireplace, as well as a wonderful rear family room that opens to a large Florida room and a sizable and beautifully landscaped backyard. A gourmet kitchen with a double oven and gas stove, whole-home water filtration system, and, of course, the perfect shaded front porch to sit in rocking chairs and enjoy the warm sea air. Most importantly, it's within a short walk of all the wonderful amenities that downtown Dunedin has to offer. One of the best features of our home is a brand-new screened-in Florida room. You can enjoy your morning coffee or tea in the perfectly landscaped backyard. The flowers, bird feeder, and fountain attract endless varieties of birds, butterflies, and squirrels! The landscape lights also make evenings on the porch delightfully romantic. The location of this home can't be beat. It is a short 5-minute walk to the water, which includes a marina, restaurants, ice cream parlors, a playground, fishing charters, dolphin tours, a ferry, and spectacular sunset views. The bike trail is a 2-minute ride away. What you will love about this neighborhood: You will feel at home from the moment you first enter our little town. Dunedin is quaint, charming, and walkable. The vibe is relaxed and beachy. The preferred mode of transportation here is a golf cart! At night, the town comes alive with live music, alfresco dining, and families enjoying ice cream. It really feels like it could be straight out of a Hallmark movie. And, in fact, it is! The Hallmark movie 'A Taste of Love' was filmed here and accurately portrays the beauty of our town (one of the locations is a house on our street!). This coastal suburb of Tampa offers some of the area's best dining, art, shopping, biking, and beaches. Hop on the adorable "Jolly Trolly" to visit the internationally renowned beaches of Clearwater or the unique sponge docks of Tarpon Springs. Of course, the vibrant cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa are within a 30-minute drive and offer world-class dining, museums, and zoos. Dunedin is also the Home of Honeymoon Island, Florida's #1 state park! The island boasts clear emerald-green waters and baby powder-like sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island, its neighbor, are a step back in time into a world of old Florida beaches before condos and hotels were developed. Both these islands are natural and unspoiled by any development. For active types, the famous Pinellas Bike Trail provides 40 miles of biking and walking between Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, and Clearwater. There are also fabulous options for golf, mini-golf, tennis, pickleball, boating, fishing, trail hiking, playgrounds, splash pads, and water sports like paddle boarding and jet-ski rental. In the spring, make sure to catch a Toronto Bluejays baseball game at the newly renovated TD Ballpark, within walking distance from our home. The Dunedin Bluejays, our amazing minor league team, play April-September. This home is a MUST SEE!
