We rent month to month with a binding rental agreement defining everyone's responsibilities. We believe our tenants will be extremely happy and want to stay forever. However, in the event they need to terminate for any reason, we would prefer they be able to leave with a simple 30 day notice as opposed to being unhappily tied to a long lease. From our perspective, in the event we find we are unhappy with anyone as a tenant, we are also not obligated by a lease to maintain the relationship. We are confident you will agree with the majority of our tenants, that we are the best landlords you can find. If you're as good a tenant as we are landlords, the relationship can last forever. This is not a means of raising the rent at will. It's really just a way of ensuring both parties are happy with the relationship.
