Terms at 523 White Shoal Way
The landlord is open to individual rental agreements for roommates or groups (e.g., multiple lieutenants or Marines living together). Each tenant signs their own separate agreement and is responsible only for their own portion of the rent and obligations. Monthly rent is due on the 1st of each month. Tenants are responsible for paying all utilities: water, sewer, trash, and electricity. A security deposit is required. It will be held in accordance with North Carolina law and may be used for unpaid rent, damages beyond normal wear and tear, or other allowable purposes. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with prior written approval. A non-refundable pet fee is required if approved. No smoking is allowed inside the home or garage. At lease signing, the tenant(s) must pay: first month's rent, security deposit, and any applicable pet fee(s). All move-in funds must be paid in certified funds (cashier's check, money order, or electronic payment as approved). Rent paid after the 5th of the month will incur a late fee. But if you are having issues, reach out. Tenants must keep the property clean and report any needed repairs in writing. The landlord will handle major repairs as required by North Carolina law (fit and habitable condition, smoke/CO detectors, etc.). This lease is subject to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and applicable North Carolina military lease termination laws. Tenants with valid military orders may have additional early termination rights.
