Nestled in the REDWOODS, is our LARGE, beautiful, safe, clean and comfortable house. The AREA for rent has 3 ROOMS and a private YARD. Your BEDROOM is (12.5' x 14.5') with a walk-in closet (9.5 X 7) and has a 3rd (20' x 7') multi-purpose room. Together they equal around 367.5 SQ FT of PRIVATE INDOOR SPACE. ALSO, there is about 400 sq ft of PRIVATE YARD for you or your DOG. For extra consideration, it is possible to rent the space to a COUPLE. It is also possible to rent the space furnished or unfurnished. Additionally the occupants of the room have access to the communal areas of the house (kitchen, bathrooms, gym, living and dining room). PLUS, available on a 1/2 acre of land is OUTDOOR communal space including patios; a hot tub; a very large garden; an orchard; and on-property stream. The HOUSE is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2500 sq ft ranch style house on semi-rural land near the corner of San Pablo Dam Road and Valley View in El Sobrante. Currently there are 5 people residing here and you would be the 6th. Moving in would require 1st month rent AND 2X rent for a security deposit. Utilities are SHARED and often billed bi-monthly (roughly $150 per month). The common areas of the house include; The LIVING ROOM - with an ENTERTAINMENT CENTER (large TV/ CD/DVD/RECORD PLAYER/ TAPE/ PS3) - A GYM - (4 different CARDIO MACHINES/ INVERTER/FREE WEIGHTS); A very LARGE KITCHEN that has 3 refrigerators and all the cooking appliances you could need. You would share a whole fridge with one other person. The DINING ROOM is 17.5' x 14' and has beautiful chairs and table. There are (2) bathrooms. There is ON-SITE LAUNDRY. We have very SAFE ON-SITE PARKING and you would have your own designated spot - with room for visitors as well. The kitchen, pantry, living room, dining room, patios, river gazebo, hot tub deck, hammocks and back yard, are ALL communal, large and spacious. There is a designated outside smoking area (No inside smoking). The property has very large grounds with a large VEGTABLE GARDEN, a dozen FRUITING TREES, and an arbor with FRUITING VINES. About 120 ft away from the house IN A REMOTE CORNER is a APIARY with a hive of HONEY BEES. There is a SMALL CREEK (WILD fish/ducks) with a forested area on the northern border of the property. This area has been tastefully developed with a small private BEACH, a RIVER GAZEBO that seats 6 to 8, and a DECK overlooking the creek. There are lots of WILDLIFE that visit us (INCLUDING deer, ducks, heron, hawks, humming birds, turkeys, river otters, foxes and others). Additionally, there is a free range CHICKEN YARD/COOP and we get FRESH EGGs daily. A backyard patio with table, for outside dining, 3 grills (wood pellet, gas, and fire) and a shaded outdoor patio for relaxing (plus 2 hammocks). We also have a second patio overlooking the creek. Our CREEKSIDE HOME is practically a resort. It certainly a SLICE OF PARADISE, with special, cool PEOPLE who are talented, respectful, and cooperative! I'm looking for an individual who is responsible, interesting, quiet, and respects and appreciates the people and the FABULOUS space. The location is very convenient; to Berkeley/Richmond (80 or 580); to Oakland (80 or Caldicott tunnel); to Orinda (San Pablo Dam Rd); to Marin (Richmond parkway/bridge): to SF (bridge or ferry). Additionally, hi-ways 4 and 680 are close. BART stations (Orinda/El Cerrito) are 10/15 min DRIVE away. The location is secluded, you cant see the house from the street. However, there is a gas station, a market, a restaurant and bar within a 5 min WALK to the corner of Valley View and San Pablo Dam Road. There are many malls, 5 supermarkets, shops and restaurants within a 5 to 10 min DRIVE. I think its best to use my phone number and text me. I look forward to meeting you. Blessings!
