        Renter is responsible for utilities. Animals are allowed, just please keep it clean and be respectful of the neighbors. No smoking allowed inside the apartment (patio is okay). Placing feminine products or any other substances that are not toilet paper down the toilet or any other drain in the property is prohibited. Furthermore, T enant is responsible for the pipes and protecting them from damage while under the Lease Agreement. This includes keeping the apartment properly heated during cold periods of time (particularly the winters) opening cabinet doors and allowing water to slightly run down the pipes to protect pipes from bursting. While under the timeframes of the Lease Agreement, maintaining the pipes is the sole responsibility of the T enant and they are responsible for maintaining the property. If they are out of town during a cold period of time, it is their responsibility to ensure the proper steps are taken to protect the piping.
