Looking for a roommate to round out our group house in Petworth (5 minute walk to Georgia Ave - Petworth Metro station, located on the Green / Yellow Line). Room is available July 1, 2023. The Room: Large bedroom with a private entrance to the outside located in a quiet neighborhood. The bathroom is shared with only one other roommate, the other rooms have their own bathrooms. The House: The living space is open concept, modern, and is bright with lots of windows and natural light. Stainless steel appliances and new systems including central air conditioning and heating, plumbing, Brazilian hardwood floors, and washer and dryer in the house. Beautiful kitchen with marble countertops, breakfast bar. There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the house. The Roommates: Our house currently has 3 young co-ed professionals in their 20-30's. The roomates are friendly and clean and have been practicing responsible social distancing and enjoy occasionally hanging out when we're all home. The Neighborhood: The house is located on a quiet neighborhood street and is a two block, 5-minute walk from the Green/Yellow line Metro and a new Safeway. It's less than a 15-minute walk from Columbia Heights Yes! Organic, Target, and Giant. There are a number of great bars, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby (Bad Saint, Call your Mother Bagels, Timber Pizza, DC Reynolds, Himitsu, Qualia Coffee, Colony Club, etc.) The Terms: The utilities (electric and internet) are evenly split among the residents, and they average around $30-$50 per person depending on the season. Sorry, no pets are allowed. Zone 4 street parking is available. Security deposit in the amount of one month's rent is required. One year lease preferred. Looking for a friendly, respectful, and reasonably clean housemate.
