The views are constantly changing with the extreme tides in the area. Miles of sandy beaches await your adventurous spirit. Birch Bay has walking, hiking, biking and running paths. If the sea is your love, there is kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, beach combing and kite surfing. There are many golf courses close by and you'll stay an hour or so from the Mt. Baker ski area. The beautiful town of Vancouver is only 45 minutes away. Bellingham is 25 min away. As you enter the property you will notice the rustic charm of the cabin that has stood on the property since 1946. It features beautiful fir floors and a cozy room with a propane stove and TV. AND then there is the addition which has a blue and white tiled galley kitchen, a bright living room with a designer green sectional sofa sleeper, a dining area, two decks and a primary suite upstairs that fills the second floor. Oh, and did I mention the VIEW? With the two queen bedrooms downstairs and the primary upstairs, this home is very suitable for a family or a room mate situation. The first floor bathroom has a stall shower and is located close to both first floor bedrooms. The large primary (king) has its own ensuite with a walk-in tiled shower. The suite features incredible views of the bay and has a private balcony and a large walk-in closet. There are dressers and closets for all of your clothing and fresh Pottery Barn bedding for your winter nights. First floor laundry room. Two free/private parking spaces, yard service, fast Ziply internet, a galley kitchen equipped for all of your needs, cozy propane central heat, brand new hot water tank and a large clean yard in a neighborhood. Peace and quiet after a long day at work or a tranquil setting for a work at home position. $3100 Additional propane cost. $1000 damage deposit $250 cleaning fee (non-refundable) that will come from your deposit. Application process for approval (must be 18 years of age or older) No smoking or vaping in the house.
