This one of a kind furnished cottage in Savannah's Landmark Historic District is charming, cozy, and very comfortable.… The cottage dates to 1860, and -- while rustic in feel -- it is equipped with all the modern comforts, and furnished with antiques and original art. The entire property consists of two cottages at opposite ends of a beautiful courtyard shared with your hosts. We live in the front cottage, and have our own entrance. Your cottage has its own separate entrance through a locked garden gate. We have two sweet rescue dogs you will see in the courtyard from time to time. The cottage is located in the shady and quiet Beach Institute neighborhood on the eastern edge of Savannah's historic district. It's just a few blocks from Forsyth Park and lots of great shopping and restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage. We are a 10 minute drive from Candler and Memorial Hospitals, and about a 15-20 minute drive from St. Joseph's Hospital. Our block on Taylor Street has free (on-street) parking, and there are CAT bus stops within a block in each direction. Pet NEGOTIABLE, pending approval, with a nonrefundable deposit of $300.00.
